2015 Skoda Fabia hatchback revealed officially before Paris debut

2015 Skoda Fabia is slated for debut at this year’s Paris Motor Show in October. To be offered in both hatchback and estate versions, the first images of 2015 Fabia are now revealed officially

2015 Fabia will enter production at company’s Mlada Boleslav plant in Czech Republic later this month which has been refurbished. 2015 Fabia images in race blue paint,shows new headlamp, LED daytime running lights, signature Skoda front grille and bonnet design with wide air dam on horizontal slats, chin air splitter and fog lamps.

Its rear end bears striking similarities to the new Octavia. 2015 Fabia will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options. A 1.0 liter 3 cyl naturally aspirated petrol engine generating 60 PS and 1.2 liter TSI 4 cyl turbo motor generating 110 PS will be on offer along with a 1.4 liter 3 cyl diesel engine in two states of tunes – 75 PS and 105 PS. A 4 cyl 1.4 diesel will be launched in 2015.

Lighter by about 65 kgs, the new 2015 Fabia is uncertain for India launch as the company tries to restructure itself on the Rapid sedan. However, if launched, the 2015 Fabia will compete with Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Fiat Punto Evo, Hyundai i20 and yet to be launched Tata Bolt and Honda Jazz. Price of new Fabia are expected to be in the INR 5-8 lakh bracket.
