The dynamic urban SUV, Ford EcoSport was a showstopper at the Bloomberg TV-Autocar Awards 2014, bagging six awards including the top honour Car of the Year as well as SUV of the Year, Best Value for Money, Viewer's Choice Award (voted for by viewers of the Autocar Show on Bloomberg TV), the Engine of the Year award for its 1.0 Litre EcoBoost engine and also the Technology & Innovation award for its Sync with Emergency Assistance.
Now in its sixth year, these awards have rapidly grown to become the Oscars of the industry with the jury comprising of stalwarts from the Indian automotive domain.
Joginder Singh, President & Managing Director, Ford India, accepted the awards from Dr. M. Veerappa Moily, Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas at the Bloomberg TV-Autocar Awards 2014, held in Mumbai last evening.

Earlier this week, leading English daily DNA bestowed the EcoSport with two top honours – Car of the Year 2013 and Compact SUV of the Year 2013 – for its class-leading design, features and technology.
