Mahindra Reva receives CII Design Excellence award

Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., a part of the USD 16.2 billion Mahindra Group, was conferred the CII Design Excellence award in the 4-Wheeler Mobility Design Category for the Mahindra e2o.
 As part of its ongoing pursuit to establish design as a tool for national competitiveness, CII initiated the “CII Design Excellence Awards” in 2011. The India Design Council endorses the CII Design Excellence Awards and acts as the national strategic body for multi-disciplinary design. It is involved in promotion of design to ultimately make Indian industry a design enabled industry. The award seeks to demonstrate the value of design to the Indian industry and is a true acknowledgement of the prowess of Indian design, innovation and originality.
 Speaking on the occasion, Chetan Maini, Chief Executive Officer, Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are delighted to receive this prestigious award. Design has been a key element in the development of the Mahindra e2o and this award is an affirmation of our efforts in creating a world class ‘Future of Mobility’ solution.  It is a matter of pride and great honour to be acknowledged by CII and we would like to thank each and every one who has supported us in achieving this recognition. The award will only spur us on to achieve greater heights in times to come.”
