Renault India Private Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of Renault s.a.s, France. Renault India Pvt. Ltd was established in 2005 and in May, 2011 introduced the Renault brand and its first product – the premium sedan Fluence to customers in India.
Renault currently has five models in the Indian market – the premium sedan Fluence, the luxury SUV Koleos, the premium compact - the Pulse, the SUV Duster and the premium sedan Scala. Renault cars are manufactured in the plant located on the outskirts of Chennai in Oragadam

Renault pulse was launched in Jan 2012 targeting the premium B segment customers but the sales numbers were not as good as expected and the monthly numbers started declining in recent months. To boost the sales, Ranault launched the limited edition of Pulse Voyage with no changes to Exterior and mechanical package.
The Renault Pulse Voyage comes with a touchscreen multimedia system that also doubles up as a navigation system. The car also gets audio components from FOCAL. The car also gets a bespoke Pulse Voyage accessory pack, which is worth INR 58,000, will be offered with the car and more details are available in company website.
In addition to interior changes, Pulse voyage also gets free insurance for two years, two year extended warranty and roadside assistance for four years. Other models like Scale and Voyage gets two year extended warranty and roadside assistance for four years.
